Frequently asked questions.
What is the difference between a wedding content creator and a videographer?
As wedding content creators, we focus on capturing short, behind-the-scenes moments optimised for social media. Everything is shot on an iPhone and usually delivered to your phone within 24 hours. As well as hundreds of unedited photos and videos, you will also receive a number of short edited videos ready to post on social media. On the other hand, wedding videographers create high-quality, cinematic films using professional equipment and their final edited video can take weeks, maybe even months, to produce. Both serve different purposes so yes, you can have both on your wedding day! But if you are trying to decide between the two it comes down to whether you want a more polished, long-form film, or that instant, social-friendly content.
Do you film the ceremony/speeches?
Yes, but as a wedding content creator, we’re there to capture snippets, clips, or moments of your day as opposed to long runs of video. If you want your ceremony/speeches to be filmed in one full take and with high quality audio, I recommend booking a videographer.
Can we make a social media trend video?
Absolutely, let us know beforehand if this is something you’d be keen to do! There’s an option to add links in the questionnaire once you’ve booked and we can also discuss this in our pre-wedding call. Just to manage your expectations, transformation videos can take a little bit of time to set up on the wedding morning, so they are always subject to having allowed enough time on the day. We love making them so will prioritise them, but it’s worth factoring this into your getting ready timeline with your other suppliers.
Is travel included in the price?
For venues more than 50 miles from CO6, travel is charged at 45p per mile. If your wedding is more than 100 miles away, there may also be an additional fee for accommodation.
Do you shoot in landscape mode?
We shoot vertically (or portrait mode) as that’s the format favoured by social media platforms. Occasionally we flip to landscape depending on the scene (e.g. a large group shot) but for wide angles, your photographer and/or videographer will have you covered.
When do I pay?
A £150 non-refundable deposit is due when booking to secure your date in our diary. The balance is due a month before your wedding.
How will I receive my content?
We will send you a Dropbox link within 24 hours with all of your raw content, plus a document explaining how to download everything. Edited videos will then be added into the same folder. We’ve tried other forms of photo sharing in the past but have found the quality has been compromised. Dropbox seems to be the best way for you to receive your content and keep the quality of the images/videos as they were originally captured.
Do you work with photographers and/or videographers?
We certainly do. In fact, it’s our preference! Our role doesn’t replace theirs as we all offer different things. Photographers are so important for leading your day and making sure your memories are captured perfectly, while a videographer will create a beautifully cinematic film of your day, captured in high definition, usually with quality audio too. We always recommend you get in touch with your photographer/videographer before booking our services.
Will you take photos as well as videos?
Yes, you will get a mixture of both however we prioritise shooting videos as our end goal is to create you gorgeous Reels. We find this works out best as we can then take screen grabs if you wanted anything as a still image, but we’d much rather you were able to watch the raw moment back. This includes with the ambient audio. Plus, your professional photographer will be providing you a beautiful gallery!
When will I receive my edited videos?
Our aim is to deliver your preview video within 48 hours and your highlights video within 3-4 days. Any other social media trend videos are usually ready within a week. At peak season this may vary slightly.
Do you offer bespoke packages?
